Our Story
Built on friendship, performance, and the joy of making music together.
Founded in 2006 as a musical component of UCLA's Vietnamese Culture Night, AweChords grew into a genre-spanning a cappella group in 2010. We perform around campus, across Los Angeles, and at VCN each year for an audience of more than 2,000 people.
Our repertoire moves through pop, rock, show tunes, and whatever songs our members cannot stop singing. Most arrangements are created by our own members, which keeps the group sounding personal and alive.
